Welcome to Dreampod

This is a tool for generating play groups (pods) for Magic: the Gathering Commander (EDH) format games. This tool will generate a random set of initial pods, and then can be used to generate subsequent pods using an algorithm that attempts to minimize previous plays between players.

To start, enter the player's names (one per line) in the Players field. Then click the button below it. Your browser will redirect to a page with the pods and a play history.

To generate subsequent pods using a play history, edit the player list on any page with a Play History then click the button below it. Dreampod will then attempt to generate a set a pods that minimizes the number of previous plays between players. It will automatically adjust the players as necessary in cases where new players join or previous players leave.
